Greetings from JETAANY! I write to share with you that JETAANY is the first organization ever to be given the honorary title "Special
Representative for Visit Japan Campaign." Inspired by a government
initiative to increase visitors to Japan, this recognition was made on May 2, 2006, during a conferment ceremony held at Ambassador Motoatsu Sakurai's residence. This was the first official reception hosted by Mr. Sakurai as new Ambassador.
